Since discovering it in art school I’ve always loved screen printing, I decided to use this medium for my latest project the “non-event posters”. I wanted to create a classic look to the posters and to mimic the familiar letter press advertising posters.

Silkscreen has been used to print iconic posters and artworks over the years, including Andy Warhol, Eduardo Paolozzi and Henri Matisse. The process used uses a stencil image to block out areas of the silk screen which ink it then forced through using a rubber squeegee, giving a beautiful crips and vibrant quality to the print.

The finished printed posters are now for sale on the online shop.
